GLOBAL WARMING
GLOBAL WARMING is defined as the overall increase in the average measured temperature of the earth surface. Global warming is an issue that is now in the mind sets of all, troubling every individual to the zenith. Statistics show, that the earth has increased its temperature by one degree Celsius in the past hundred years. As earth’s thermostat keeps climbing, threats to the health of human beings are on a simultaneous increase, apart from the direct damage it does to us. At the same time, a hotter planet means more severe floods, droughts, dirty atmospheric air, dirty water and the list just goes on and on.
The problem isn’t just restricted to human beings, indeed, the animals and the other living beings are suffering with the others. The polar bears from the tropics and the aquatic animals in the article are on a quantified decline. Such species fail to tolerate the atmospheric imbalance, so they fail to survive, leading to their extinction.
We know how to fix this problem and therefore we must save our planet from this environmental disaster. The smallest step an individual being as a resident of this planet can take is to plant more and more trees. You may think of it as a small change, but if a million can actually do it, the positive developments would be there for all to see.
